About Frivillig.seFrivillig.se is a Swedish meeting place that conveys commitment, interest, ideas and tasks between societies that need volunteers and individuals who want to make an effort.Frivillig.se was launched in 2004 and had originated with the Association Øresund - a project that worked to improve conditions for cross-border union cooperation in the Øresund Region. Frivillig.se has a Danish sister site called Frivillige.dk. The project co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund. City of Gothenburg and municipalities in western Sweden through Gothenburg Nonprofit Center and West Swedish Sports Confederation joined early. Frivillig.se has 479 compounds (in 2009) who registered since its inception and has a total of 565 missions presented. Frivillig.se cooperate with the Skåne Association of Local Authorities, the National Youth Board, Event in Skåne, South Swedish Sports Confederation, Volunteer Centers in Sweden and the Center for Public Entrepreneurship. Responsible for the sites Frivillig.se, Forening.se and Intyg.se are the National Organization Nonprofit commitment.
